Jack's Family Needs Help from Ftl Storm

Hi, my name is Eugene and I am fundraising to help out my friend Jack Rosenzweig who lost so much from the storm in Fort Lauderdale on April 12th 2023. with over 2 ft of water in the area, Jack is now homeless and staying in a hotel with his family. Insurance will help but it will not cover where he will have to stay for several months until his home is repaired along with day-to-day expenses, loss of clothes etc and that is what any donations will help with. FEMA currently says they cannot help as the area affected is too small so although there is insurance there is still help needed.

Here is what Jack recently shared on FB " I just lost my home due to flooding. Everything in the house was destroyed. As in the movies I evacuated with Mayer(his son) in my arms with waist-deep water but couldn't find 2 of my cats. I walked two miles back at 1 am to the house in waist-deep water to save them. I did. Walking back the waves were so high I fell into the water nearly drowning the cats, but I saved them. Now homeless while the house is assessed. Let's see what happens but never thought this would happen to me and my family. It's hard.. just saying it's really hard"
