My name is Jack Murray and I am working towards my Eagle Scout rank with Troop 336 in Lynbrook, NY. For my project, I am reclaiming an overgrown area of the Tanglewood Nature Preserve to turn into an outdoor music classroom for the Nature's Kids preschool program. I attended that program 14 years ago and have many fond memories of it. My goal is to reclaim the area and turn it back into a functional outdoor music classroom for future generations of Nature's Kids students. Please help me fund the project, which will require a few thousand square feet of weed cloth, about a dozen cubic yards of wood mulch, and various other supplies and tools to make this happen.
