Jackie’s Legal Battle for Preston's Custody:
Donation protected
My heart aches as I share my story with you all. My name is Jackie Bozic, and I come from Liberia, West Africa. Currently, I reside in Miami, Florida, during the July 4 weekend of 2023. I left my husband. Three months after leaving I asked for a divorce because my heart shattered into a million pieces. He accused me of illegally taking our son out of New York City, where we used to live together. The court ruled against me, ordering me to bring my son back to New York. They took my baby away from me and handed Preston over to his father. Since then, I have been fighting tirelessly in court to regain custody of my son. However, the financial burden is overwhelming. The pain of not being able to hold my child in my arms, not knowing where he is, is unbearable. I have a restraining order against me, preventing me from seeing my son. I am pleading with anyone who can help me raise funds for my legal battle to bring my baby back home. Despite working two jobs in downtown Miami, I still struggle to make ends meet. I moved to the United States alone, leaving my family behind. My children are my world, and Preston means everything to me. The thought of not being able to be a mother to my son is a heavy burden to bear. Please, if anyone can offer assistance, I am reaching out to the community for help. My children are my only family in America, and I cannot bear the thought of being separated from my son any longer due to financial constraints. Your support would mean the world to me. Baby Preston is now 3 I’ve missed 2 birthdays. I almost died with this pregnancy. Somebody help me. I can’t function well.
