My name is Jesus, and my aunt is Jackie Ramirez. I come to you requesting help and prayers for my dear aunt, Jackie Ramirez. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2A Gastric Type Adenocarcinoma of the cervix. It is considered a high-risk type of non-HPV-related cervical cancer with a generally poor prognosis and higher rates of metastasis and resistance to standard chemoradiation. Treatment and management plans for this aggressive cancer are still being refined due to its relatively recent identification as a distinct subtype and its unique clinical characteristics, which differ from HPV-associated cervical cancers.

She is currently going through further testing to clarify some things and verify whether there is any metastasis they will have to address as well. Surgery is already scheduled for a total radical hysterectomy, then plans for treatment to follow, whether it is chemo, radiation, or both.

I know this economy is hard on all of us, but giving this way, I think, will give others some peace of mind that they are not putting any undue burden on themselves to help.
