To my fellow Jack ‘n’ Jill - Marina Bay Parents,
I hope you all are well and holding up as best as possible during this uncertain time. Over the last few weeks, we have all been impacted by COVID-19 and are trying to maneuver this new normal. As you read in the last newsletter from the Jack ‘n’ Jill management team, the teachers and staff have all been put on temporary furlough as a result of the center closure.
Unemployment and the CARES Act may cover a portion of lost wages, but we know this will be a hardship on teachers and their families. While Kids & Co is continuing to provide benefits to staff for as long as possible, they're unable to provide any additional support to the teachers.
Starting March 23rd, Jack ‘n’ Jill families are not being charged parent tuition fees (at least through May 4th). If you are able, please consider donating a portion of those fees to help our teachers. I personally have never been more grateful for our teachers than the last few weeks!
Every dollar raised will go directly to support the Jack ‘n’ Jill Marina Bay staff and teachers (distributed equally).
