Jack, Cornelius town historian, needs our help!

Hey y’all, many of you are lucky enough to know Jack Conard, or if you don’t know him, but you live around the Cornelius area of North Carolina, you most likely have seen him around town. A Cornelius native and veteran of the US Navy (1966-1970), Jack knows more about the town of Cornelius and has documented it with amazing photos than anyone ever has or will.

Unfortunately Jack was recently hospitalized and is currently in rehab until he gains strength and is able to make some improvements to his house that is currently in disrepair. Jack is never one to complain about anything even though he lives without heat in his house, has plywood for floors, and has leaks all over the place in his roof, some big enough that when it rains, it overflows a gigantic cooler that is inside his house.

Jack is never one to ask for anything and this is where I/we come into play. He needs help making improvements to his house while he is in rehab building his strength. Any donation amount, both big or small, will make Jack’s day and this is a time for us to show Jack that we love him as much as he loves us.

Each and every penny raised will be used to improve Jack’s house and living situation, and if there is anything left over, will be transferred to Jack to use at his convenience.
