Jack Bartlett's Eagle Scout Service Project
Donation protected
My name is Jack Bartlett, and I live in the Overton Park area with my parents and younger sister. I am a junior at Paschal High School and a member of Troop 50 of the Boy Scouts of America which meets at Arborlawn Methodist Church.
I am working towards Eagle rank and have selected a bridge to rehab in my neighborhood as my service project. The bridge, which is located in Overton Park between Bellaire and Ranch View, is run down and needs a fresh coat of paint and other updates. I am working with the City of Fort Worth to make these updates in accordance with their guidelines and am excited to have gotten the green light to proceed. I would greatly appreciate any time and / or financial assistance you could provide to me with this project.
My goal is to raise at least $1200-1400 to cover the cost of paint and supplies we will use. The 30+ gallons of paint cost $1200, and we will also purchase paint brushes, scrapers, tarps, etc. The project will be completed on Sat, Oct 22, beginning at 8:30 a.m. If you are free that day we would love to have you join us in our efforts. Thank you for your support!
