Jack Barrett was a former postman and the last surviving founder member of the modern Accrington Stanley F.C. He famously led a fundraising march from Accrington to Liverpool in 1968, which served as a major catalyst for the club's rebirth.

Each year we honour the walk to raise money for local chosen charities.

Accrington Stanley Supporters' Trust Walk/Run 2026.
