Hi Friends and Family,

I was accepted into my college's study abroad in Havana, Cuba for Spring semester 2015. This is a unique time in Cuba, and I would like to share my perspectives on what I see and experience while there. During those four months I plan to post images, reflections, stories and art on my blog.

Short term, I want to continue my film and diaspora studies in Cuba. After I graduate, I hope to make films and art around the world.

Getting to Cuba, living there for four months, and getting the basic supplies I will need to document and share the experience all provide a considerable financial challenge for me. Your donations will make this important step possible.
