First of all, we want to extend our love to our Smoking Barrel family. We're honored to serve you and thrilled to be here! Your messages and stories of love and gratitude mean the world to us. We deeply appreciate the support you've shown through comments, DMs, livestreams, and events over the past three years.

We feel that we can relate to many of you, and serving you helps us navigate some of our own challenges. We're dedicated to being a beacon of light because we believe in you. You inspire us to keep spreading that light into this "dark" world.

Recently, like others, we've faced hardships, health issues, and unexpected challenges. Since 2023, maintaining stable housing has been a significant struggle. We had to move from our wonderful home into a small basement, and despite our efforts to keep that environment "healthy", it became unsuitable for our children.

We needed a fresh start for our family, so we relocated again about two months ago. Unfortunately, this new situation quickly became an unsafe haven for us. Now, we urgently need to find a place that ensures our children's safety and well-being.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 or more to cover the first and last month's rent. If we raise additional funds, it will help to establish a more permanent place and will keep The Smoking Barrel alive. Despite the hard work we do in serving The Smoking Barrel patrons, we have limited savings and are struggling to gather the necessary funds on our own.

Our Fantasy Tavern is operated from our home, serving as a safe haven for many. It is crucial for us to maintain this space, not only for the future of our little family but also to continue providing support through our content. Our videos help others mentally and emotionally, and a permanent home will enable us to continue this critically important work of serving you, our "online family".

OUR STORY

For those of you who don't know us yet, we'd like to share a bit of our story with you.

We are Tegan and Seth, though many know us better as Elowyn & Porter, our online personas. We are a family of four with two young kids under the age of 8, and also have our first "child" a little corgi who is an integral part of our lives.

Seth works a full-time job as a Logistics Analyst and Tegan is a stay-at-home mom and runs the behind-the-scenes of The Smoking Barrel Tavern.

In November 2021, we launched The Smoking Barrel Tavern on TikTok, and we've since expanded to several other platforms. We were disheartened by the toxicity and bullying we saw online and wanted to create a space that offered something different—a feel-good environment and a safe haven for others.

We developed special characters with unique backstories that intertwine with our personal experiences to teach and inspire through storytelling. Across our social media channels, we offer a space where people can learn how to "level up" their own characters through personal development.

Our mission is to spread light in a challenging world, reminding people of their importance, the value of their lives, and their right to belong and feel loved. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in a world that needs more good kind people in it.
