I am setting up this Go Fund Me page on behalf of my neighbor, Tammy, who lives on Brushton in the Baldwin Hills-Leimert Park - View Park - Ladera Heights section of South Los Angeles.  Or, rather, she did live there -- until her home burned down this past week.   I learned about it through nextdoor.com and all the neighbors want to help!  I only had a generic photo (of strawberries!) to upload (a photo is necessary to start a  GFM account!).  But strawberries are a fitting metaphor:  they are a sign to me of renewal, nourishment, even hope.  Let's give a gift to Tammy of all these things -- she is distraught, anxious, without clothes, without a home, minus her beloved possessions.  We can show her the neighborhood cares and wants to help her start fresh.  Won't you join me in giving her this?  Thank you for considering it and for reading this far!  Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated!
