2019 London Marathon

As a parent member, my boy George, now 12 and my little girl, Ruby-Rose 9 have be members to 20th Bermondsey scout group for many years now. I cannot believe the hard work and time,for which, they are not paid. And its clearly for the love of the children, of which, the group leaders put in,and also receive back! The children are always learning and experiencing new challenges.The convinced my children have grown in over the years and skills learned is lovely to see and I am sure I speak for all the parents when i say that,weather its just learning to start and cook on there own little fire when camping to kayaking on lakes, climbing trees to first aid,there is just an endless amount of opportunities for all the children.
Funds raised from my London marathon run this year would go towards a new mini bus,as the group have to travel on public transport to camps and days out,which at times very much limits options available and makes it harder for the younger children to attend camps.Also towards supporting the running of the programme
