Pay It Forward Fundraiser

My name is Lochlan; I am 17 years old and a student in year 12. In March and April this year, I will participate in Paying It Forward.

Locally, Paying It Forward is coordinated by the Rotary Club of Albury Hume as part of its youth portfolio. This initiative provides students aged 16 plus with the unique opportunity to work alongside remote communities to deliver community projects. Project work is often varied depending on the community's needs at the time.

From 28 March to 6 April 2022, I will be traveling with the Rotary Club of Albury Hume and a small group of students from years 10, 11 and 12 to the Nalauwki village on Waya Island in the southern part of the Yasawa Islands of Fiji. I will be helping to build a retaining wall and a secure fence around the school grounds

From 19 April to 3 May 2022, I will be traveling with the Rotary Club of Albury Hume and a small group of students from years 10, 11 and 12 to a remote Indigenous community in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. I will be helping to build garden beds and paint the senior school.

To assist with delivering these projects, I am seeking your support through cash donations to contribute to building materials, including paint, garden products and retaining walls, sports equipment and women's sanitary products.
