Support to Baby Willow, her Mommy and Daddy

Hi my name is Tracey Cory. My daughter Leah went into premature labour on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 and was airlifted to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto with her husband Austin by her side. During this critical moment, the main concern was to stop labour so baby would remain in womb until the 24 week gestation commenced. On Thursday, September 19th, Leah was rushed in for an emergency C-section; baby Willow was delivered at 11:22 AM.

After being discharged from the hospital, Leah and Austin now have to travel over 2 hours to visit their baby who will remain in NICU until she is strong and stable enough to come home.

They are looking into benefits they may qualify for but the process takes time. The costs associated with accommodations, travel and meals over the past few weeks and throughout the upcoming months, are placing extra financial strain on our family.

In the past, I myself have helped as best as I can by donating to fundraisers, charities and global pandemics. Now I am asking for others to help out if you can by donating any little amount to help my daughter, son in law and Baby Willow, (my first grandchild).

Toronto accommodations at a medical rate range from $120- $280 per night. Meals a day per person estimated at $50-$100 and the cost to travel per person is estimated at $20 -$100 per day.

All funds raised will go to Baby Willow’s Mommy and Daddy to help offset travelling expenses to Toronto.
