We need a new roof!

Booker Memorial Hall needs a new roof urgently. We have arranged for the work to start in August as it is not a job that can be left. The cost is significant and whilst we have been setting funds aside for emergencies, this will really stretch our finances going forwards.

You may not realise that we do run as a charity and do not receive any outside funding other than monies received from hiring out the Hall, or events that we put on for the community. We try to subsidise the events we do lay on, as it is important to the Committee that the Hall remains a hub for local people.
