Hi, my name is Ruben, and I am fundraising for Adele & Gilbert's family of seven to get a reliable car for their every day commute.

Adele and her husband Gilbert arrived in the U.S. towards the end of last year after Adele received a work visa from now employer. She is at the moment the sole provider for a family of seven, which includes two children in college, two in high school, and an adult son.

While Adele works full-time, her husband is not legally allowed to work for the next 18 months as they follow the lawful green card process. Every expense—rent, food, school costs—falls on her alone.

Right now, the family urgently needs a reliable car just to function. Adele must commute to work, take her children to school, buy groceries, and handle medical appointments. Without transportation, everyday life becomes a constant struggle.

A trusted colleague has offered to sell her a car for $5,000 cash, far below market value. Unfortunately, supporting a large family on a single income makes it impossible for Adele to raise that amount on her own.
