Meet Maverick. He was born with TSA (transposition of the great arteries). Basically, this means the two arteries that deliver oxygenated blood to the body and brain are reversed. This is a life-threatening heart defect, but it is fixable. He has had one procedure already, a balloon inserted through his leg into his little heart. He will have to undergo open-heart surgery. He will be hospitalized for several weeks in the NICU. Currently, he is struggling to keep his blood pressure stable. This is devastating for his parents. I decided to start a fund to help assist with bills. Maverick's dad is self-employed and, like any other great dad and loving partner, he doesn’t want to leave without baby and momma. If you would be willing to donate, it would be much appreciated. However, if you cannot, prayers will work as well. We will take all those we can get.
