Support Renae's Family in Their Time of Need

Just before Christmas (2023), my beautiful sister-in-law, Renae, was diagnosed with cancer and given the news it was stage 4 metastatic lung cancer weeks later. Renae is 41, a non-smoker, and an active, otherwise healthy mom to Audrey (9 years old) and wife to Kelly. Though the prognosis wasn’t great to start, we all had high hopes for the best outcome. Renae has been courageously battling this awful disease for 7 months now, remaining so strong and grounded through it all. However, we have recently learned that her body is not responding to treatments, and that her time here with us is nearing an end.

To say we are heartbroken and absolutely devastated is an understatement. Renae has always been such a bright light in the lives of anyone she knows. If you’ve been graced with her big, gorgeous smile…you understand.

One of Renae’s wishes for Kelly & Audrey is for them to have time together, to grieve, to establish new routines and make this transition to their next chapter as smooth as possible. Our hope, as family and friends of Renae, Kelly and Audrey, is that we are able to help provide some extra financial cushion, allowing them as much time together as possible.
