In mid-March PJ Clarke’s made the extremely difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations. While the COVID-19 health crisis has brought on an abundance of challenges to all of us, these necessary precautions have no doubt hit our restaurant family particularly hard. The hourly team of servers, line cooks, prep cooks, food runners, bakers, bartenders, barbacks, dishwashers and hosts that once was able to work flawlessly together to deliver to you your Cadillac Burger, Perfect Manhattan and Whiskey Bread Pudding are now in difficult and unchartered territories.
The PJ Clarke’s family has been rallying to support one another for 136 years and at this time we are asking for your help in supporting our hourly and tipped staff. For anyone who is in a position to do so, we kindly ask for your financial support during this time of need.
100% of the donations from this campaign will go directly to our Washington, D.C. PJ Clarke’s hourly staff.
As a token of appreciation, here is what we can offer you once we are able to open our doors again:
$25+: a handwritten postcard from a member of our staff
$100+: a plaque with your name next to your favorite table or bar stool
