Just a Little Helps: Empowering Communities Worldwide, One Step at a Time
At Just a Little Helps, we believe small acts of service can create powerful and lasting change. We are a global humanitarian initiative committed to uplifting vulnerable communities through food security programs, youth development, disaster relief, and emotional intelligence education.
Our work currently spans multiple countries and continues to grow through strong community partnerships and locally led impact.
In South Africa, we provide consistent food parcel distributions to families facing food insecurity while also leading emotional intelligence programs for youth. These classes focus on self awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy decision making, equipping young people with tools that extend far beyond the classroom.
In Colombia, since 2021, we have supported a youth basketball development program that provides children with a safe and structured environment to build confidence, discipline, mentorship, and teamwork through sport. As our partnerships continue to grow, we hope to expand into food distribution efforts in the future to further support vulnerable communities.
In the United States, Just a Little Helps has established chapters in Houston and Atlanta. The Atlanta chapter is currently paused as we restructure and prepare for future programming. Our Houston chapter is active and continues expanding outreach efforts to serve vulnerable populations experiencing homelessness.
During the devastating flood crisis in Thailand, Just a Little Helps partnered with the Good Shepherd Center to provide emergency flood relief support. Through this collaboration, we helped distribute essential supplies to families affected by displacement and natural disaster.
At Just a Little Helps, we remain committed to meeting communities where they are, working alongside local leaders, and building sustainable programs that restore dignity, create opportunity, and strengthen communities.
