Hi, my name is Melanie Martinez. I’ve grown up with my mother and stepfather for the past 16 years until recently he kicked my mother and I out. It was very sudden and he took everything with him, but away from us. Now, I’m trying to finish high school and graduate while helping my mother make barely enough money for us to get by. Living on the streets has been rough, and we really just want a fresh start with a small apartment in town. Any donation would be put toward the apartment and the essentials we need for survival.
