Hello everyone! My name is Izzy Craig, and I’m a TY student in Dominican College Sion Hill. In March 2026, I will be traveling to Cape Town, South Africa, with a group of amazing girls from my year. We’re joining an incredible organization dedicated to creating positive change in local communities, and I am so excited to be a part of this life-changing experience.

The goal of our trip is to volunteer in various communities around Cape Town. We will be working on a range of meaningful projects, including supporting education initiatives, providing help in local schools, and assisting with healthcare outreach programmes. In addition, we will be engaging in community building projects. I can’t wait to work hands-on with the local organizations and see firsthand how we can make a real impact.

What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to help those in need, learn from the inspiring people I’ll meet, and contribute to important projects that are already changing lives.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this programme, and I’m determined to make the most of this experience. I know it will help me grow personally and as a global citizen. I can’t wait to gain new skills, make lasting memories, and return home with a deeper understanding of the world.
