This is Konrad Group's Global fundraising campaign in support of International Women's Day 2020 (IWD2020) on March 8th. We have worked with our teams across all offices and have identified 4 organizations in our communities that will benefit from funds raised. This year's focus is on organizations who support women and girls in STEM or provide Leadership/Mentorship programs. Below is a summary of the organizations and the types of programs they offer:

New York: Girls Inc.  - "Inspiring ALL girls to be strong, smart and bold" - Girls Inc focuses on the development of young women by supporting, mentoring, and guiding girls in an affirming environment. Funds raised will go to one of their Academic / STEM programs. 

San José - Suri Project  - Providing opportunities for Costa Rican female heads of household to learn a skill to help them lead their families. Funds raised will go to a specific program where women learn technical skills that can be used to create a business for future employment.

Toronto & Peterborough: hEr VOLUTION  - "Inspiring Girls to Embrace STEM Careers" - the go to place for youth, particularly girls from underserved communities to come in order to advance in 21st Century Skills. Funds raised will go to the STEMing UP program, which is a 4-week course preparing 14-17 year-old girls for a career in tech. 

Vancouver: Dress for Success Vancouver  - "Empowering women into the workforce by providing them with professional attire, career services, and skills development programs". Funds raised will provide critical financial support to the existing services which include Lifelong Learning, Sponsorship, Career Development and more. 

This campaign is open to our teams across all offices and all the funds raised will be equally divided between these 4 organizations. We are aiming to raise $4,000 for this initiative and KG will also be dollar matching contributions from our team members for up to another $4,000, for a total of over $8,000.
