IVF got this
Hello everybody and welcome to our story,
We, Kelly and Ashley, are trying to raise $5,000 to have a chance at having a child of our own, with regular IVF.
This journey has been 2 years+, and it has been a long one with a lot of side quests. We have gone through multiple testings, screenings, HSG, semen analysis, a laparoscopy surgery to correct a Uterine Septum, metformin, clomid, vitex, provera (to induce periods to keep my body regular and lower the risk of uterian cancer), and a failed Effortless IVF trial.
After effortless IVF, we were able to stemulate my ovaries, and gather 12 perfect and beautiful eggs, the male contribution was gathered, and 1 out of 11 naturally fertilized, and stopped development at day 2.
We are now pursuing regular IVF, a lab will now fertilize every single egg gathered at retreval, and incubate them in said lab, rather than a natural fertilization in an Invo-Cell, that was used during effortless.
It was heartbreaking, unfair, and cruel, we took the time to self reflect, and heal. Days seem to be much harder after getting so close, but being forced to stop before we even got to transfer.
What we've learned, PCOS is the factor in this botched family plan, while a bad male sample was the reason that Effortless failed us. Our doctor was baffled, how we could give so many fantastic, above adverage, samples, but the day of, gave a very low amount. At the end of the day, it's nothing we can dwell on. We lost 12 eggs, 12 chances, but we don't blame anyone, it's just an unfortunate part of our story, our journey.
Our specialist is certain we will be successful the next go around, with Regular IVF, which is double the cost, but nothing is left to chance, and we have to have hope, love, and a little science to get us there.
If our goal is met, it means the medication is paid for, and we can borrow the remainder for the procedure.
The medicaion is about $5,000-$5,500.
The procedure is about $8,000-$8,500.
Currently I, Ashley, am designing 2 shirts to help fundraise, for those that want to help, and want to represent. I will post the finsihed designs here, and they will be available for $20, with $5 shipping.

I am the 1 in 8, with PCOS, and do not ovulate. My eggs are great quality, and I have a large amount of them.
He is perfect in everyway.
Remember our 12, they are the hope we need to keep trying.
