Jordan & Nicole : IVF - Racing Against Time

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We're reaching out to share the story of our dear friends, Jordan and Nicole, who are facing an incredibly difficult journey. Jordan, a resilient fighter, first battled cancer in early adulthood. He underwent heavy chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and after a challenging fight, he was fortunate to go into remission. However, even though Jordan has been in remission for years, the aftermath of his treatment has left him with an unexpected and heartbreaking complication—infertility.

Jordan and Nicole, now happily married, dreamed of having their own family. After much hope and effort, they discovered that they can still have the opportunity to grow their family through IVF. Unfortunately, the cost of IVF has proven to be an overwhelming barrier. In Alberta, where they live, IVF isn't covered by their benefits, or government programs, and the cost has become beyond what they can afford.

In a bid to make their dream a reality, Jordan and Nicole have already sold personal assets, worked extra hours, and tapped into their savings. They had saved what they thought was enough to cover the cost. However, despite all of this, they’ve recently learned that additional complications have emerged, further increasing the financial burden of the IVF process. As a result, the costs are rising, and they are now racing against time.

Jordan and Nicole have shown incredible strength and resilience through everything life has thrown at them. But now, as difficult as it was to ask, they need help to make their dream of becoming parents come true. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a world of difference to them.
