Help Me Fund a Reliable Insulin Pump

Hi everyone! My name is Ivey, and I live with Type 1 Diabetes, an autoimmune disease that requires me to depend on insulin every single day to stay alive.

I currently use an insulin pump to manage my diabetes, but unfortunately, I've been experiencing ongoing issues with my current system. Between frequent out-of-range errors, connectivity problems, and other frustrations, managing an already unpredictable disease has become even more challenging.

After discussing my options with my diabetes care team, I've decided that switching to a Tandem insulin pump would be the best option for me.

Unfortunately, despite multiple appeals, my insurance company has continued to deny coverage for the new pump.

Because of this, I've made the difficult decision to purchase the pump out of pocket, directly through Tandem.

As someone who lives with Type 1 Diabetes, having reliable access to insulin delivery isn't a luxury. It's something I depend on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help cover the cost of purchasing my new insulin pump. Any donations will go directly toward that expense.
