Our hearts are broken as my brother, sister, and niece face the hardest moment any family can endure — saying goodbye to their precious baby boy, Ivan Mercado Schreiner.

For over a year, Ivan bravely fought through surgeries and countless health challenges at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, TX. Despite everything, he met each day with a bright smile that captured the hearts of the entire hospital staff. His eyes lit up for life’s little joys, especially his love and excitement for Bluey.

Ivan’s strength, joy, and courage inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. As we come together to honor his memory and support his grieving parents, we are asking for help with funeral expenses and to give this beautiful boy the farewell he deserves.
