It’s Our Turn to Help Dar’s Double Scoop!

Last week, our beloved neighborhood ice cream shop, Dar’s Double Scoop, got robbed just before closing time.

This little gem in the North End neighborhood of Saint Paul Minnesota is a black-owned / woman-owned business run by the kindest, most generous family around. This robbery, on top of unexpected expenses and the now immediate need for a new security system, has put our favorite ice cream shop and wonderful community gathering space into a serious financial tail spin. The folks at Dar’s have always stepped up to help our local schools and non-profits, they have mentored young people and budding entrepreneurs, and they want to keep serving up sweet goodness to the community. But to stay open, they’re going to need our help.
