G'day our names are Edinalva and Gareth, and Legolas is our little love, our dog.

It started as a limp. I was perplexed at what it could be from. We tried to walk it out. Tried resting it out. But alas it is f#cken cancer.

Legolas hasn't been putting any weight on his sore, front right leg now for more than a week. The cancer has metastasised and the leg has to go. The vet surgeon will amputate his leg and then we need to start chemo because this type of bone cancer is aggressive and spreads through the blood, even if the CT Scan doesn't show so much as microscopic cancer.

We have 12 months a s a prognosis. It could be twelve good quality months. It could be more, it could be less...

We are asking for help from our family, friends, my Tiger Tail fam and anyone that can help us out with the costs.

I'm known for bringing a bit of humour and joy but Legolas is our light, joy and big little love. He's made such a difference to out lives since we got him as a rescue puppy in August 2021.

To get another 12 months, or MORE with him is priceless and with your help and generosity we can afford it.
