It’s All About the AWT (Artist Working Together)

Donation protected
With the generous support of the arts community, its institutions, and world-renowned artists, The House of AWT Project produces original community arts performance events and projects that give visibility to the art of Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults. These projects and events have included artworks in the areas of dance, audio/video production, street art, music production, and fashion.

The House of AWT Project is now seeking funds to pursue a fully-fledged non-profit designation to independently raise unrestricted funds for future projects, events, and programming. Donations will directly support costs associated with non-profit filing and independent organizational development. An additional goal is to continue working on the Ovahness Ball digital archive, a 14-year (2006-2019) archival collection of the longest-running House /Ballroom Ball on the West Coast to date.
