As you all know, I am a single mama of 3 INCREDIBLE boys, Miles, Nasaan and Quinton. If you are not familiar with our story, Nasaan has Down Syndrome. In simpler terms, that means he's got an extra dose of AMAZING-NESS in him :) This past year has been one of the most challenging for many reasons, one being that I had to quit my job because I could not find adequate childcare for Nasaan. All these changes and challenges were as my maternity leave was about to begin!

If you know me, you know I'm a fighter and will do anything for my beautiful family. One thing I have learned and hope to pass on to other mothers, parents, and families is the ability and courage to ask for HELP! I don't take this lightly and know in the depth of my being that we are ALREADY so blessed.

Fast forward to today, and the struggle to pay rent has become a stress on our family. As the fall approaches and the kids are getting back into school and starting daycare, I can start looking for work. I have not been able to do this so I can be home with Nasaan, and the new love of our life, Quinton. Who can believe he will be one in a couple of months!!

We will be truly grateful if you can find it in your heart to help us get over this hump!
