USYD NEPAL COMMUNITY PROJECT

A group of 11 undergraduate science students from the University of Sydney will be taking on the trip of a lifetime in January 2015 when we venture into the Himalayan regions of Nepal.

As part of this adventure, we will be taking part in a community project to improve the learning conditions for the students attending school in the remote Nuwakot Village. This includes restoring walls, ceilings, exposed timber work, plastering external mud walls, general cleaning, and assisting the local workers.

Our goal is to raise $2000 to ensure we have enough resources to complete this project successfully and greatly improve the quality of education for the children of this region. This can't be done without your help so any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you again for your generosity and we look forward to keeping you all updated with the progress of our venture.
