My name is Peter and rather than touring the country visiting family, I am spending this Xmas at home in liverpool.

I work supporting people living with HIV in liverpool and am very aware that a lot of people will spend Xmas day alone when Xmas day is the worst day to be lonely.

i lost 9 people through suicide during the pandemic and I believe we are in an epidemic of isolation and loneliness which fuels it.

so for me it’s a bit of a crusade.

off my own bat, I have hired Lark Lane community centre to cook Xmas dinner for around 30 people whom will be collected and drop off home using their minibus.

mainly lgbt and refugees.

i have also roped in my best friend and colleague John, to help out

we need help to raise funds to pay for food, drinks and presents, using AI, the estimated cost is £600 with any surplus being donated to the community centre.

i am also approaching supermarkets for donations which hopefully will bring that total down
