You may have heard that many LGBTQI+ people have fled their home countries because of persecution and come to the US border seeking entry. Some people have gotten in and are being held in detention pending settlement with sponsors in the US. It Takes a Village Olympia has mobilized to identify sponsors and organize all the support that is necessary to help LGBTQI+ people resettle in the US.
