I’m writing this with the uttermost sensitivity - this post is not political- it is not open for political conversation it is open for “we are a community and it takes a village” - apologies in advance if I offend anyone. At ‘my’ starbucks there is a barista who is homeless, I know this for a fact because I’ve seen where this person lives and I of course asked them to confirm before posting this. Not sure if you read the ‘barista’ part - yes, they are working and doing what they can to get off the streets and no, they are not asking for sympathy or begging for money - they are not playing the victim. If I were to create a go fund me at a reasonable limit to at least get them into The Good Nite Inn for maybe a week or two so that they would have a soft bed, a shower and warmth (rain in the forecast for Saturday and on/off next week) 

The target goal is for one week accommodation at The Good Nite Inn which is $857.92 + tax and money for food for the week.
