It is time for me to be the change.

Hello, my dear friends and fellow humans. As you have probably seen, I hold the war against Ukraine incredibly close to my heart. As I have made many posts and updates about the war, I haven't spoken much about it on a personal level. This has just been too hard for me to talk about. Watching on from the safety of my home while I have friends trapped in different regions across the country. Fortunately, some have found refuge outside of Ukraine, and I am incredibly gracious for those taking in refugees worldwide. Unfortunately many still havent found a safe way out. Having traveled to nearly every corner of Ukraine. I personally have seen the beauty of this culture and this country; the people of Ukraine are generous, kind, and so unbearably resilient, Ever since my visit in 2018 I have dreamed about going back, I just thought it would be under different circumstances.

So this is why I have decided to stand idly by no longer as I am volunteering in the humanitarian effort to distribute food, water, and medical supplies throughout the country. I am in contact with a few different humanitarian groups, mostly run by individuals like myself. At this juncture, it appears I will be driving some of these goods to different regions within Ukraine. I know some of you may ask why and some may even try to stop me, but this is my decision and something I have been called upon to do, something I must do.

Though it is my decision, it is a completely self-sustaining task. One that has posed to be quite expensive, I have purchased armor, med kits, a long range radio, and many more supplies will be needed, including housing in Lviv while there. Not including my bills back home that won't stop because I am gone. This task has also required me to quit my job, one I have been promised to when I get home.

I have always disliked the feeling of asking for money from hard working folks, I know we all feel the struggle daily, unfortunatley this is something I am finding hard to do completely alone. So I do ask today for your kindness and compassion, so I can help those in need, Anyone who donates, your dollar will go to a wonderful cause, helping so many of the displaced people in need.
