Ismael's Mission: Transforming Young Futures

My name is Ismael Anevil, raised in Asbury Park, NJ. My life story is a testimony to faith, perseverance, and purpose. An immigrant who once navigated life without true guidance, I sought belonging in the streets, surviving gunshot wounds, confronting alcohol abuse, battling stage 3 cancer , and toxic relationships. Throughout every trial, my unwavering faith in God became the anchor that kept me going. With over 20 years of experience in customer service and a long-standing commitment to community engagement, I bring seasoned leadership, strong communication skills, and a people-first approach to my work. My journey has uniquely equipped me to serve the youth, especially those walking the same difficult paths I once knew too well. As the Director of GOD'Z WORK, my nonprofit organization offers mentorship, guidance, and visionary leadership to young men seeking brotherhood, healing, and direction. My presence is deeply rooted in purpose. My vision for GOD'Z WORK is to be a global movement. Over the next 10 years, I aim to establish a community-centered recovery and rehabilitation space for youth struggling with addiction, identity, and mental health challenges—a place of leadership, love, and life transformation. Fueled by lived experience, spiritual purpose, and divine guidance, I'm committed to doing God's work by helping the next generation step into their greatness.
