Help Support My 2027 Borneo Trek – A Life-Changing 4-Week Expedition

Hi, my name is Isla and thank you for taking time to visit my go fund me page.

In 2027, I have been given the opportunity to experience an incredible 4-week expedition to Borneo with Camps International, where I will be trekking through rainforests, supporting local communities and have be given the chance to experience true off-grid living whilst trekking through the heart of the Bornean jungle.

As well as helping to protect orangutan’s habitats, I will discover a totally different way of life, living as part of a rural community and working together to create sustainable change.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will help grow confidence, resilience, and independence while playing an active part in helping to protect the important environment through long-term conservation projects, making a meaningful difference to the world around me.

During the expedition, I will:

• Work on community projects and help improve living conditions for local villages.

• Take part in conservation efforts, protecting endangered wildlife and fragile ecosystems.

• Trek through some of the world’s most diverse rainforests, developing teamwork, leadership, and survival skills.

• Learn about global citizenship, cultural awareness, and environmental responsibility.

This trek is fully self-funded, and i’m working hard through fundraising and personal savings to contribute as much as possible.

We’re asking for support from friends, family, and kind strangers who want to help achieve this remarkable goal of mine.
