ISACA SV 2021 CommunITy Day Afghan Refugees Fund

Please note that this fundraiser will close on Saturday, October 2nd at 11:59 PM PST.  ISACA SV is going to match $1,000 to whatever amount is raised. 

Due to recent events causing instability in Afghanistan, the lives of thousands of Afghani civilians have been at risk. Many have had to relocate to areas such as the San Francisco Bay Area. As such, the ISACA Silicon Valley Chapter has made it our mission to exemplify our purpose, promise, and values by supporting those who are impacted by these events. Through this initiative, we believe that together, the members and patrons of ISACA will be able to make a difference in this time of great need.

 

For the beneficiary of our collective effort, we will be donating the funds to organizations who are assisting with relocating Afghan refugees:

- City of Fremont - Restricted to Afghan Refugee Help

- International Rescue Committee - Restricted to Afghanistan humanitarian crisis

 

Your donation will help us support those who are responding to these refugees. By supporting organizations such as City of Fremont for Afghan Refugees and the International Rescue Committee, the ability to provide shelter, food, water, and other necessities is crucial to helping these refugees re-build.

 

As part of ISACA SV's commitment to this cause, we have made a $1,000 donation match to this campaign.

2. Is my donation tax-deductible? Unfortunately it is not since you are donating to us who will then donate the campaign donations to the specific Afghan relief pages.
