We truly have a lot to be thankful for this year as Alex continues to thrive and enjoy his time off treatment.

Some of you may have noticed we aren't doing a toy drive this year and it has been weighing heavily on our hearts. Hospitals have their donations back up and running and have toys for children, which is amazing! Last year was unbelievable with over 8,000 toys donated thanks to Ironman Alex's supporters, plus our family donation to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, $1 per toy!!

This year, we have selected a few charities that have touched our family over this past year. Our plan is to match donations personally as a family and have them donated in Alex's name.

We are running this fundraiser through Christmas! Our goal is to match up to $15,000 and split it equally between the charities. Alex is SOOOOO excited to have the ability to donate our own funds and what we collect on the fundraiser to help other families! When he makes the official donations, we will share updates with you with each charity!!

We pray that all children and their family that are touched by pediatric cancer have amazing support like we found this past year!! Thank you for helping fund it!

One is Children's Dream Fund. They granted a dream for Alex in May and it was the most amazing experience for Alex! The organization is unbelievable and very focused on truly supporting a child's dream and making it a reality. From the moment we met then after a chemo apt, they were so hands on with Alex. The delivery of his dream was so heart warming! These are woman that truly live their passion of making children with cancer happy!

One is Heroes Unmasked. They donated to Alex's first toy drive and Ironman himself showed up at the toy drop! They were present for Alex's Bell Ringing parade in our neighborhood and helped make the event special! Additionally, when I called asking them to help a local family surprise their daughter with cancer for her birthday with Spiderman, they didn't hesitate! They also donated money and gifts to the family to help in their challenging time. I was very grateful for the joy they brought this young lady and her family. They are known for "Driving the Miles for the Smiles" and "Together we Rise".

One is Children's Cancer Center. This is an organization that has been very near and dear to our family this last year. We learned about them in January and have been so thankful. They have built us a support system of family and friends we wish was there from the start. Family group events, mom events, connections with other organizations, and just amazing people who truly support the pediatric cancer community locally. They are based out of Tampa but added a Sarasota chapter, which we are apart of. Alex has made amazing friends through this organization that connect with him on a different level as they are also living it. I have created amazing relationships with other cancer moms as we all truly understand eachothers fears and reality.
