On Sunday 9th November I’m going to be taking part in the Ironman 70.3 in Melbourne.

As it’s in November, I’ve decided to raise money for the Movember Foundation which focus on men’s mental health and suicide prevention. Last year I lost a good friend of mine, so I want to raise money, raise awareness and help prevent other people from having to go through this.

This triathlon involves a 1.9k swim, 90km cycle and then a 21.1km run. I’ve set myself this challenge as currently I’m pretty fat and unfit and want a challenge to help me get in shape.
