Irish-Ukrainian Humanitarian Bus
Donation protected
The Ukrainian-Irish Solidarity Committee (UISC) has been sending vehicles to Ukraine to help with the humanitarian crisis since the earliest days of the war. We fill them with humanitarian aid and gift the vehicles to medical units, territorial guards, front-line units and civilian causes - wherever the evolving need is greatest. We work in cooperation with the Strong Nation International Fund (https://strongnationinternationalfund). Our work has been verified and documented by the recipients of our donations and our leadership has received honours from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and from the Church for humanitarian work.
We have worked with a local bus company which has made all repairs to a 2004 Mercedes Vario 34-seater bus. Thanks to their generosity, the bus company has discounted the cost of their surplus bus by 75% leaving us to raise only $2,500 for this project. We hope to send this bus to Ukraine via Irish Ferries then drive across Western Europe and deliver the medical goods, food and warm clothing by mid-November. Time is short!
Please help us reach our €2,500 goal of purchasing this bus so we can fill it with the supplies we have collected with local partners in Co. Cork, Ireland.
