On the 2nd November 2024, myself and a few of the lads are packing the bags and setting off to take on the mighty Kokoda Trail, the original Kododa War Track, which is a 9- day hike over 96km over in Papa New Guinea. This exhilarating journey not only promises breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences but also serves a greater purpose—raising awareness and funds for a vital organization that supports the Irish community in Australia. With every step we take on this historic trail, we’re not just challenging ourselves physically, but also uniting our community to make a positive impact. Join us as we trek through the lush landscapes of Papua New Guinea, fueled by our passion for connection and support. Together, we can make a difference!

We have chosen to fundraise to a special charity close to our hearts - The Irish Support Agency (ISA).

we’ve set the target at $10,000 but we’re hoping to smash that!!!!

The ISA has been serving the Irish Community in Sydney and New South Wales (NSW) since 1995.

The Agency is not political, not denominational, inclusive ,a service that meets the real and pressing needs of it’s clients, and committed to delivering positive outcomes quickly, when possible.

They understand that bad luck can happen to anyone, and that sufficient bad luck can be devastating. Health, work, legal, financial or isolation issues can feel overwhelming when you are so far away from your usual support network, the ISA provides that safety net.
