Immigrants arrive in northwest Washington state with little but the clothes on their backs and the seeds of hope. They wish nothing more than to put down roots, raise their families in peace, and contribute to our communities and workplaces. Unfortunately, there are no systems of support in place to provide bridge assistance to these community members and they often find themselves in a temporary period of crisis.
Many immigrants who have resided in our communities for years, are marginalized and live in poverty. A small change in their economic or personal situation can cause them fall into times of temporary crisis.Immigrant Resources and Immediate Support

Many of these families have experienced multiple traumas, including violence, poverty, political volatility in their native countries, a dangerous journey north, family separation and harsh conditions in ICE detention. Yet they are survivors as demonstrated by their resilience, humility and hard-working character.
Together, we can make a significant difference and give hope and the promise of a better life.
