Irelans' Annual Mission Trip

Chris, Lori and Mackenzie Irelan have been blessed with the invitation to take part in a medical mission trip AGAIN with Foundation for Peace this winter. We will be leaving on November 29th and headed back to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. We will be traveling with a group of medical and non-medical volunteers to build at an orphanage and also provide much needed care for the Dominicans. It is projected that 1000 people will come to our clinic for services each day that we are there. Last year we raised enough to bring $15,000 worth of medications and we treated over 1000 people of all ages. This is an other opportunity of a lifetime and something that we want to share as a family and we are truly blessed to return to the area.

We are in need of donations to help with the cost of the trip. It costs $760 per person (this will pay for our housing, meals, security, translator and transport on the island). There is also the costs of passports  and airline travel is approximately $500 per person. Wilmington University is taking care of the expenses for Lori, so your help will offset the costs for Chris and Mackenzie. Any additional funds received will be used to purchase medications and supplies for the clinic and to pay to fly the supplies.
