Ipswich Windrush Society Reflection Touring Bus

This is a long time in the making since 1998 (27 years), the vision has become more clear and now is a possible reality. From the positive impact of our Micro Reflection Room in Sailmakers Shopping Centre, Ipswich, that showcases inclusion and the positive response from our visitors. It is now time for us to share this with our wider society. We aim to create the front room setting within our touring bus for all to see and reflect upon, what we all have in common without social media all those years ago. No matter where you travelled far and wide there was the front room, that special space. That mystical place, that only now we ask why it no longer exists? In our busy lives very few things have been saved for best, just in case or for the future. The front room, that special front room, is a reminder of the resilience of the Windrush Generations.
