To all friends and Ipswich War Memorial Project followers,

Thank you for all your love and support for our continuously growing project over the past 12 years.

Andrew and Helen have endeavoured to update our website and post daily on Facebook the life stories of those who lost their lives as a result of wars with an Ipswich connection.

Now Andrew Beal, after 25 years of service as the Town Sergeant of Ipswich, has the opportunity to fulfil his dream to hike, with rucksack and tent, the iconic Land's End to John O'Groats! Andrew started his personal challenge at Land's End on Sunday, 10th May.

You are all warmly invited to follow Andrew's epic journey on his Facebook page, "Andrew Beal LEJOG"

En route, Andrew will endeavour to visit areas linked to the Ipswich fallen and post some interesting videos on his page.

As Andrew hikes the 1,300+ miles, he would like to raise funds for the Ipswich War Memorial Project to help finance future exhibitions and research of the brave men and women who have lost their lives in conflict.

Thank you once again for all your love and support. Lest we forget.
