Welcome to the Ipods for Autism Fundraising Page!
Ipods for Autism is a spinoff from Autism Unplugged; a grassroots orgnaization providing support for almost 500 families affected by Autism/Add/Adhd/PDD.
Our goal each year is to provide 8-10 children with an Ipod, protective case and communication programs to assist in learning. We are currently raising funds for assistive devices to be distributed in the Winter months of 2015.
1 of every 68 children (according to the Center for Disease Control) has some form of Autism.
IPOD apps allow you to do a shortcut around the neuromotor problems getting in the way of communication.
An IPOD can give a child with autism a voice they never had before.
How can you help?
*Make a personal pledge
*Organize coworkers or friends to make a "community" donation
*Approach your place of business
