Invitation to help those in need

Coming to my hometown is going down memory lane, each city block is a reminder of the many little things I found joy in and that somehow shape me into the person I am today. While I've been able to enjoy Pereira, Colombia (my hometown) and happy to see how it has thrived in the last 3 decades, the stark reality is that the amount of people in need is staggering. I decided it was time to give back to the city that had given me so much. This is why I am inviting you today to help those in need.
The goal of this initiative is to raise enough money over the next month to feed at least 300 families for a full week. Food will reach members of the poorest and most vulnerables neighborhoods around Pereira where family members struggle to make a living and bringing food to the table everyday is not a reality.
Please join me in making this a reality and bring a smile to families in need!
P.S: I'll be posting more pictures of the neighborhoods we will be visiting and the families impacted by your generosity the day of the distribution.

Volver a la cuidad de Pereira donde nací, es viajar en una maquina del tiempo. Cada rincón de esta cuidad trae a mi mente recuerdos de mi infancia en la cual la felicidad se encontraba en cosas simples y pequeñas. Aunque he tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de Pereira y de sentirme orgulloso de ver su progreso y sus ganas de salir adelanté en las ultimas 3 decadas; La dura realiadad es que la cantidad de personas que necesitan ayuda es alarmante, miles de paisanos viven en condiciones no dignas. He decidido que es hora de ayudar a la cuidad que me ha brindando tanto. Hoy te invito a ayudar a los mas necesitados.
La meta de esta iniciativa, es recaudar el dinero suficiente durante el proximo mes para alimentar por lo menos, a 300 familias por una semana entera. Se compraran mercados para los barrios mas pobres y vulnerables de la zona rural, veredal y metropolitana de Pereira donde las familias más necesitadas se rebuscan el dia a dia para poder llevar un plato de comida a sus mesas.
Ayudame hacer de este sueño una realidad y poder llevar una sonrisa a familias que tanto nos necesitan.
