In celebration of Women's History Month, BMG's The Network is fundraising to support the Good Shepherd Shelter in Los Angeles.
Good Shepherd Shelter is a transitional facility which provides individualized, comprehensive, trauma-informed care for mothers and children to help them heal from the devastating effects of surviving domestic violence. The programs are designed to heal families and give them the tools they need to lead stable, violence-free lives thus breaking the inter-generational cycle of domestic violence.
Their Mission
Good Shepherd Shelter’s mission is to break the generational cycle of domestic violence by providing individualized, comprehensive services and shelter to women and children escaping domestic violence and by raising the level of community awareness through advocacy and education.
Good Shepherd Shelter has identified a specific need for some larger ticket items to support their daily work with families. Specifically, they are in need of 8 Metal Sheds from Home Depot for their facilities. We are fundraising to fund the purchase of these (and if possible, more!) from their wish list.
Please join us in supporting this incredible organization and, in doing so, investing in the safety, independence, and success of women in our community.
